Since the creators declared that season 3, part 2 was the final season, Alexa and Katie season 5 won’t be made available. After Alexa conquered cancer, the two of them parted ways to attend different colleges. Although it won’t happen, the show’s viewers were hoping for a fifth season to showcase college life.
The show’s makers believe that it has reached its conclusion and that season 3’s conclusion is ideal. They believed that since the main focus of the program was to depict Alexa’s battle with cancer and how her loved ones helped her win, the show should have ended there.

About the Alexa and Katie Story
Like any other adolescent, Alexa and Katie, two of the greatest friends they have, wanted to enjoy their freshman year. However, Alexa had been told she had cancer and was waiting for her doctor to give her the all-clear to start high school.
Katie, on the other hand, assisted her as much as was required. She went with her even to the chemotherapy. As her hair began to fall out, Alexa didn’t want to be the center of attention at high school. In order to encourage her, Katie shaved her head as well.
Both of the two had expensive and inexpensive wigs on when they started their freshman year. When Katie’s wig fell off during the basketball tryout, everyone initially believed she had cancer. But subsequently, Alexa admitted that she has cancer and not someone else.
This caused her opponent Gwenny to be particularly kind to her, which made her extremely upset. A flu outbreak occurred during their winter formals, which were nearly canceled. She then has the brilliant idea of having everyone don a mask, which allowed Alexa to go to the winter formals with Dylan.
These experiences continue throughout the entire program. like Katie’s sweet sixteen, when she started working at a coffee shop, etc. From freshmen to graduates, their journey was incredible. The audience adored this program. No one anticipated it to end so quickly, so the conclusion was a little sudden.
Although Alexa did recover from cancer in the third season, the audience persisted in watching and adoring the program. It was unexpected and distressing to hear about two college-aged best friends parting ways. We can only hope that the show’s makers will recognize how excellent it is and decide to renew it for a few more seasons.
