It comes from North America, where it came from in Europe. North American natives used aronia, the natural remedial as food and medicine.
After the Chernobyl explosion, aronia was used to alleviate the effects of radiation, which was more than successful, and is still used today.
As an exceptional antioxidant, aronia prevents the formation of free radicals and their “attack” on healthy cells in the body and blood plasma, slowing down the aging process of the body and preventing the development of chronic diseases.
Aronia effectively cleanses the human body of harmful substances and heavy metals and is therefore a useful prevention against malignant diseases.
Many studies have shown that aronia has an anticancer effect because it destroys a large percentage of malignant cells in the brain, lung, breast, colon, and liver tumors.
By ORAC and TEAC standards, aronia has the greatest antioxidant activity of all berries and nuts. It is rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, trace minerals, folic acid and vitamins B, C and E. Due to the high share of antioxidants and vitamins C and E, aronia has anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antibacterial properties.
In addition to the above vitamins, the precious aronia juice also contains minerals such as calcium, potassium, manganese, iron, iodine, phosphorus and zinc, which especially strengthens the immune system.
It is best to use aronia juice every morning to boost your immunity. You can also buy this juice in the store, but it is best to prepare it yourself.
2 kg of aronia, one liter of water, 800 g. sugar and a freshly squeezed lemon.
Method of preparation:
Put the sugar and water in a bowl and put the bowl on low heat, stirring occasionally. When the water boils, add the fresh aronia berries.
Stir constantly until they start to boil. While mixing the syrup, press the berries to release as much juice as possible from them. When it reaches boiling point, leave the dish on low heat for a few more minutes, then remove and allow to cool.
Strain the resulting contents and return to the stove to boil again. Then remove from the heat and add the juice of one lemon. Mix everything well and put the resulting syrup in a glass bottle that you will sterilize beforehand.
Store the syrup in a dark and cool place and consume as needed. Consume diluted with a little water.
