The Vampire Dies in No Time (, Kyketsuki Sugu Shinu in Japanese) is a manga series written by Itaru Bonnoki. Since June 2015, it has been published in Weekly Shnen Champion, a shnen manga magazine by Akita Shoten. It has been collected into 23 tankbon volumes. From October to December 2021, Madhouse turned the book into an anime TV show. In January 2023, the second season began.
The storyline of The Vampire Dies in No Time: In the story, the famous vampire hunter Ronaldo is hired to kill the supposedly unbeatable vampire lord Draluc and get back a human boy that he is said to have taken. When he meets him in his mansion, though, he quickly realizes that the only reason he is called “invincible” is because he can almost instantly come back to life after being burned to ashes.
This is good because he is so weak that almost anything can kill him. The boy who was thought to be a hostage actually sneaks into the castle often to play video games from Draluc’s huge collection. Because of this, chaos breaks out, and Draluc’s castle is completely destroyed.
Draluc is then without a place to live, so he moves into Ronaldo’s apartment for the time being, which makes Ronaldo very unhappy. He also brings his pet, a cute armadillo named John, who Ronaldo soon grows to like. After helping Ronaldo with a case, they become unofficial partners and often fight with other vampires and hunters.
